Blonde&Bikini
First of all, happy New Year! May this year be full of gastronomic adventures and unforgettable tastes! We go into this new year with lots of energy and first amazing place to share with all of you. I was waiting for this place to open for some time. We all knew something would eventually open there but I feel like it took forever. The tenement in front of my apartment was being renovated and it didn't take us long to realize there was going to be a restaurant on the ground floor, but nobody knew what it would be. So after months of suspections our neighbours opened Blonde & Bikini. They mainly serve alcohol, but there is obviously a short menu as well. I am not a big alcohol lover and have absolutely no knowledge about drinks, cocktails and the types in general, so it was pretty obvious so listen to my friend's recomendation and order pornstar martini (funny enought this cocktail has no martini in it). Let me tell you one thing: this thing is to die for. It has fresh vanilla beans, some passionfruit pure and I have no idea what else, but does it really matter? It does not. If you ever want to try something else (even if you're not alcohol fan), go for it! It's worth it. I wouldn't be myself if I didn't order some food. And the only vegetarian option at that time was ravioli with truffles. Unlike drinks I can call myself an expert when it comes to the food and I can't say this dish was good. The pasta was almost raw, I could see this thick white uncooked line. The filling wasn't spectacular either. What was pretty spectacular was the service. The waitress who collected and brought our orderd was the nicest person I've ever met in a restaurant. We had lots of questions about the food and the drinks. She politely asked the cook about every single thing. She joked, told us the story of the name and thanks to her I felt in love with clover sprouts which I eat almost every day ever since. The interior is very interesting although not very my style. It's clean and a little glamour. The prices are not great either and only worth it when it comes to cocktails. Summing up:
- Food: 3/10
- Interior: 6/10
- Atmosphere/staff: 9/10
