Byczyn
I’m sorry meat lovers, I guess you won’t enjoy my blog… Actually I’m not
even sorry. Being vegetarian has become way easier than it was a few years
back. Nowadays I’d say it’s rare not to have a vegetarian or vegan option on
the menu. But the truth is it’s not that easy in every city. Here in Poznań we
are lucky to have vegan/vegetarian restaurants! In other cities they’re lucky
to have meat free dish on the menu… Being absolutely grateful and happy I want
to tell you about another place I’ve been to recently (not for the first time
but still). It may not be the best choice for fit food freaks, but if you feel
like having a cheat day, this is a place you should go to. Byczyn serves the
best vegan burgers! They also have those new potato fries in American or
Mexican style with many ingredients. On a busy day, full of dramas, tasks and
failures we decided to let the diet go for a trip to Neverland and visited this
burger heaven. We had Mexican fries, Vietnamese burger and hot white vine. The
award for the best taste surprisingly goes to the vine! It was one of the best
hot white vine I’ve ever had! Fries as a dish were very tasty with all the
toppings, but fries themselves weren’t very special. But what was even more
surprising was the burger. It wasn’t very good. It wasn’t very bad either, but
we remember eating another one (don’t remember the name, but the bun was black
for sure) and it was heaven on earth. This one was a little tasteless and
boring, but I guess it’s the matter of what kind of ingredients you like. The Vietnamese
had an omelette, tofu, lettuce, carrot and sauce. As I said, the taste was fine,
but there was nothing special about it. So I’d recommend another one and they
have a few to choose from. I won’t say this place is cheap, but comparing to
meat burgers it’s kind of the same prize. The staff isn’t very good, but it isn’t
bad either. They could work on a few things, but the experience wasn’t
negative. In conclusion:
